Cranberry Orange Body Oil

Today we’re mixing up a simple, fragrant Cranberry Orange Body Oil that I devised to give beautiful cranberry seed oil a chance to shine. Since it’s a new-to-me ingredient, I wanted to get to know it in a simpler formulation. I’ve used it neat on the skin, and that’s lovely, but I wanted to step things up a bit to create a fragrant, lightweight body oil that’s lovely to use right after a bath or before bed on a cold winter night.

This Rosé Shimmer Body Oil is many fantastic things. Thing #1: it is ultra silky and lightweight, absorbing into the skin in a flash leaving a beautiful dry-touch finish. Thing #2: it smells downright amazeballs. Thing #3: summery shimmer! Thing #4: it’s crazy easy to make—no heat, just some weighing and stirring. Mango Mango Massage Butter

This beautiful Mango Mango Massage Butter is a combination of a few things that are on my mind these days. Thing #1: I’d really like it to be warm outside, and the smell of mangoes helps transport me to beaches and last year’s trip to Australia. Thing #2: I really like massages and was out of my coconut massage butter. Thing #3: I am so in love with this natural mango fragrance oil that I want everything to smell like mangoes all the time. Anyhow, I hope you love this hit of skin-loving mango goodness as much as I do!

Sugar Plum Body Oil

This is our second Sugar Plum recipe for holidays 2018 making, and it makes for a delightful gift (or, you know… keep it for yourself!). It’s easy to make, can be dressed up with a pretty bottle, and feels really quite expensive and posh. The recipe is easy to scale, so you can make a big batch, bottle it up, and have yourself half a dozen or more gifts in well under half and hour. Booyah!

Coconut Massage Butter

Massage lovers everywhere: prepare to fall in love. This silky, glide-y Coconut Massage Butter gives you eons of working time on the skin for a luxurious, satiny massage. It isn’t oily or greasy, but you’ll find your hands gliding over skin with a wonderful, soft slip. When you’re done the massage, this butter settles down to a soft, velvety finish that’s light and luxurious—the sort of thing you’re happy to leave on your skin. Swoon.

Satin Massage Oil

When giving a massage you want an oil that adds slip for an extended period of time, but isn’t unpleasantly greasy. It’s also nice if it’s easily malleable in the hands (I’ve seen pure coconut oil used for this purpose, but never liked how you have to scoop a hunk of it out of the tub before using it) and has a satiny finish on the skin, leaving it soft and hydrated and happy (though really, how could anything not be happy post-massage?!). This massage oil came about as a result of my experiments with olive wax, after noticing how much play time many of the various experiments had on the skin, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
