Cranberry Orange Facial Serum

Today’s Cranberry Orange DIY is a silky, indulgent oil serum packed with antioxidants and some of my favourite natural carrier oils. A pump or two at the end of your skincare routine is all you’ll need to keep your skin soft and glowing through these dry, cold winter days. It pairs perfectly with the Cranberry Orange Facial Gel Cream I shared last week; I like to top the gel cream with a few drops of serum as the last two steps of my skincare routine. Swoon!

Cranberry Orange Facial Gel Cream

I’ve had several requests for a gel-cream this year, and I’m excited to share this Cranberry Orange themed one with you today! This cold-processed cranberry orange facial gel cream is focussed on hydration and barrier support, helping our skin be its best self through dry and dark winter days. It is silky and lightweight, leaving skin soft and glowing, and smells softly of tangy fruit and citrus zest. It’s really simple to make, too!

Cranberry Orange Tinted Lip Balm

Deep red cranberries lend themselves beautifully to a Christmassy tinted lip balm, so it’s no surprise that this lip balm hit my to-do list as soon as I knew one of our holiday themes would be cranberry orange. Today’s silky tinted lip balm gives the lips just enough colour that you don’t have to apply it while looking in a mirror (watch the video to see it in action!), and the semi-sheer red hue is universally flattering. The making part is super easy so you can easily whip up a batch in no time—these beauties make great stocking stuffers (try tying a tube to a candy cane!) and are sure to be a fast favourite among anyone lucky enough to receive a tube 😄

Calendula Rose Foaming Cleansing Powder

Today we’re creating an herb-and-clay-based powder-to-foam facial cleanser. It’s a pretty simple concept, and easy to customize and tweak based on what you have on hand. It’s been quite a while since I shared a cleansing powder—it seems I really liked them in 2016/2017, and then forgot about ’em! A recent YouTube comment got me thinking about them again, though, and here we are.

Lavender Facial Cleansing Bar

Today we’re creating a gentle Lavender Facial Cleansing Bar—a solid foaming facial cleanser with a skin-happy pH, creamy lather, and a lovely lavender scent. Several bees have sent in requests for another solid facial cleanser, with references to products from Cerave and Drunk Elephant. I’ve been testing this one for a while now, and I’m really excited to share it with you!
