This is my favourite way to prepare broccoli. The ROE (return on effort) is great. All you really have to do is chop and stir, and the oven does the rest. My friend Meredith told me about this, having read it somewhere online. Roasting something with garlic isn’t a particularly ground-breaking cooking method, but it is delicious—especially in this case! The only pre-requisites are liking broccoli and garlic. If you’ve got those, you can’t go wrong.

Garlic Roasted Broccoli
3 heads broccoli, chopped into florets
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt & pepperPreheat oven to 450°F. Arrange the broccoli and garlic on a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until the broccoli is nice and tender.

This really is a delicious way to make broccoli. In fact, I might have to make some this way tonight…
I am loving your articles on healthy foods 🙂 I’ve only recently started eating veggies everyday, and broccoli is turning out to be one of my favorites when cooked right. Going to give this one a try next week, it looks super easy!
