I bought mine from New Directions and they’re pale pale tan to white-ish color. And yes, they definitely do stink! I can’t stand the smell either! Even at a 2% level used, I find it hard to completely cover with fragrance oil, although that helps. I still find I can catch a whiff of it though. I can’t even describe the smell like Penny did because to me it just stinks and I don’t willingly subject myself to that smell unless I’m making something. Haha!
