Reply To: adding glycerin to oil based lip balm

So…tried arnica infused in olive oil, aloe in coconut oil, changed the glycerin in the above recipe out for rice bran oil (needed to be used). The result is lovely although my husband says its too thick and doesn’t taste great. I had added benzoin and spearmint for taste and a drop or two of syrup. I’m wondering if the glycerin gave it sweetness and made it less viscous….time for trial two :S
