Personally I LOVE lanolin – i’ve made lotion with it but really like it for cuticle balms and lip balms. I don’t find it irritating and have made a lip balm that was about 30-40% lanolin (with cocoa butter, jojoba oil, beeswax and a hint of carmine…)
