Calendula infused oil is great for babies! When I was 11 my mother had another baby and I remember massaging her with calendula infused oil.
If you were advanced enough into using surfactants (I’m not there yet either), I’d recommend a gentle body wash/shampoo for the baby, as soap might be a bit harsh for a baby’s delicate skin.
