So, since I was highly encouraged…*elbows Twin* I shopped. My fiancé says I cannot have any more packages arrive because I’ve had like 15 packages in a week. Heh.
But my argan, sea buckthorn, rice bran oil and the like have arrived! So…I’m trying to think about face recipes that are not too heavy, but are nourishing and help keep away the aging aspects. My sister, the baby, just had a birthday, and I plan to give her some goodies as a gift when we get together next week. She likes things like Oil of Olay, etc.
Any ideas?March 11, 2017 at 5:22 am #20967SimplySheParticipant
I currently have and love Maries lavender cardamom cleansing lotion and the rose gold serum is hands down a most beautiful gift. It looks rich and feels divine on 🙂 Also a clay bar for cleansing looks like more than it is and a fun mask or that foaming facial cleanser, I don’t think it has anti aging properties but its fun! or the calendula eye cream?March 11, 2017 at 9:55 am #20974
That foaming facial cleanser is so FUN! I love the cleansing balms. I’ve got the one from the book, the one with orange wax, and the clay one. Love them all!
A facial lotion with squalane and argan made with Aristoflex AVC would be nice with some drops of chamomile, helichrysum, and carrot seed for anti aging, healing properties.March 11, 2017 at 12:26 pm #20977
Dang it! I need to find the foaming facial cleanser! I think now I have some surfactants to play with, I can play! *does dance* You all are brilliant!
I’m going to have to splurge in squalane. Huh that would be 2 items in my Ltioncrafters basket….hmmmMarch 12, 2017 at 4:10 pm #21030
What is that ingredient Joyful was telling us about?? Arginine, arcticine, something like that. She said is was pretty awesome. I’ve seen it at Lotioncrafter, so that would be three things in your shopping basket. Just sayin’……..
And you might as well try the emulsifier Lotionpro 165 too, while you’re at it. It makes very light, whippy body butters. Don’t forget the behenyl alcohol, which is a good fatty alcohol for lotions and hair conditioners.
The sea kelp stuff seems interesting too. So does the bamboo bioferment, I think that’s what it’s called…..
Is your basket full enough yet?? If not, I could probably make a few more suggestions.😂😂😂
Now I want to shop at Lotioncrafter too!😬😝March 12, 2017 at 6:12 pm #21045
You’re just loading that cart. Lmao. Hmmm I need to make a list and go from there. I spent most of my day sleeping. I think I’m finally over whatever ick I was getting.March 12, 2017 at 6:33 pm #21051
Yes, I am familiar with the ick…..pine pollen here is killing me!!!
And I am now shopping on Lotioncrafter too!! Enabler! Haha!
Oh, don’t forget the Olivem 300!😁March 12, 2017 at 7:17 pm #21055
Yup and the Lotion165. And hydrolyzed oats, etc. because yeah! I’ve been enabled. Someone stop us, we’re carting again!March 13, 2017 at 9:04 am #21066
Twin, did you see Marie’s recipe this morning for Lemon Chiffon lotion?!?! Sea kelp bioferment! How funny and kind of weird is that?!?
You are now entering….the Mind Reading Zone……(cue Twilight Zone music….)….do do do do….March 13, 2017 at 10:55 am #21070
I think she’s been entering the Twin Zone….where no one escapes. BwahahahaMarch 17, 2017 at 6:44 am #21099PennyParticipant
Drool. I love my olivem300!March 17, 2017 at 8:04 am #21101
Yep, I have some and it’s on my shopping list for more. Pretty soon, I’ll have enough on my list for Lotioncrafter to actually make it worth the shipping! And then it will be “Come to me, my sweet Sepimax Zen!! I need you! I need gels!”. HahaMarch 17, 2017 at 7:23 pm #21109
Evil! Evil! I’ve been working..as in the day job, plus I wrote and posted the first chapter of my new story on my pardon page. Go me! So now I’m on lotion rafters going, Olivem, Sepimax…need you all…need you all!April 20, 2017 at 2:09 pm #21927
So I’m sick at home. I think it’s the flu or allergy migraine heck. While trying to recover, I decided to make some facial cleansers. Yes, more than one. Lol
I made the Fizzy Foam cleanser. This is supposed to be a gift. I’m thinking I’ll need to make more before I 🎁 it. 😂 I love the scent- I did distilled lime and eucalyptus radiata. Very uplifting!
I also blended the creamy clay cleanser and the cardamom lavender cleanser. I have it in squeeze bottles and I like the feel of it. Not overly bubbly, but definitely cleansing. One is going to the nephew.
The last is the aloe cleanser. I used aloe and rose hydrosol for added oomph. And I cheated. *blinks innocently* Sepigel 305 instead of Xanthan gum. I’m in happy land. So yes, sepigel 305 can emulsify its aloe and acids. So I have this beautiful creamy thick cleanser. 😊April 20, 2017 at 9:46 pm #21934
Oh my! The aloe, hydrosol, and Sepigel one sounds DEEEEVIIINE!!
Get well soon, Twin! But, in the meantime, keep making stuff. It will take your mind off of the “I feel like crap” feeling.
