*blinks* You scare newbies with talk like that. Just saying. Seizing, broken, non solidifying soaps. It’s enough to give me a complex.

The soap gremlins won’t bother you Twin *she says soothingly…*
You’ll do just fine!! That’s why we keep telling you to keep it simple the first time.

Blended, strained and have strawberry purée freezing in thin sheets. I used some rectangular plastic lids from takeout containers that are about a half inch deep. I figured that was thin enough to sprinkle lye on and have it covered pretty uniformly. Now, I need to get on soapcalc and get my numbers! Woo hoo! One step closer to chocolate strawberry soap!

What is this time of what you speak? I’ve heard of it once or something.

It is a mythical creature that exists in the realm of……OK, my brain went blank. But, you get the idea! It can be hard to carve that time out when life is making its demands known. Kind of like a newborn baby…..waaaaaa, I need food! Waaaaaaa, I need to be cleaned! Waaaaaaaa, hold me!

A month? I need the rest of my life.

Spent the day yesterday making soap, lotions and then sourdough bread. By the time8pm rolled around I was passed out on the couch while some TV program rang on. And now? It’s back to work for the week then my life goes back to some normal scheduling where I’ve lots of free time to play!

Oh, I want to be paid to stay home and have fun. Since I’d have to win the lottery to pull that off, a month would need to suffice. Lol

You have been busy. I have been touching my new toys and researching all the stuff so I can prep my Wednesday fun. Beware the blonde who will create lotions, gels and more. Bwahahaha!

The only thing I made this weekend was the Fizzy Foaming Face Scrub. Can I tell you how fun that stuff is ?!?! Soooo fun!

I have a few errands and such to do this week but hoping to get SOMETHING made this week! Been spending past two days on Ancestry. They were having a freebie weekend where all European records were free to look at. Since all my ancestors are European, I wanted to take advantage of that. This stuff is so fun yet so headache inducing!! And the further back you go, the worse the record keeping is, so sometimes you’re just shooting in the dark. So, the maybe good news is, one of my relatives might be an original Jamestown settler. How cool would that be?!? I’m still looking into it and hoping to figure it out before the Euro records shut down on me.

Oh, how awesome! I need to find out about my great great gram from Bretagne, France area. Plus my great great gramps from Holland. Don’t tempt me. Don’t. *screams* I’ve been hiding from it. Lol

I got my goggles, my gloves, I need soap pot, lye, and then I’m ready. Omg, I cannot wait!

My heritages is English, Scottish (just found this out tonight! A titled Lady from Scotland with a castle and everything!), Irish, French from mom’s side and German, Swiss, Swedish on dad’s side. It’s so fun to look at but so time consuming!! I’m seriously considering doing the genetic DNA testing to see who I might be linked to. It would definitely make this process go faster, maybe, possibly….

You and me both. I swear my family slept their way to America. Lol
The DNA test could narrow down some research patterns.

You have to stop me. I’m filling my cart with tons of soap stuff. Omg, I’m going nuts.
