Like I mentioned, I made blush the day I was recreating my essential makeup. But I ended up with a blush that has a hint of pink with natural undertones. I actually love it. I’m threatening to add some mica for some shimmer.

Pretty! I bet it looks very natural on you! Shimmer would be pretty for spring and summer!

Yup. Perhaps a shimmer and a half shade darker. Maybe. But I like this for a light blush that hints at colour without being overwhelming.

Maybe a bit more pink with shimmer, maybe, would be good. That would be very pretty and summer-y.

That might be today’s project. Though I’m debating on more liquid foundation and concealer. Lol

I wanted to do something today, now that the cold/sinus/allergy/flu/whatever is pretty much gone, but in its place the antibiotics have ticked off the stomach. So, yes, yes I AM annoyed!! Plus, said antibiotics have given me an awful rash on my neck, which is burning and itching. I am remembering this happened last time I took this particular one. Will have to remember that next time I see dr!!

I want to make lip stuff next! Then mascara and eyeliner. Oh, and the airbrushing and finishing powders!! I may try that tonight in between making dinner, bath time and bedtime routine with the youngun! If I don’t end up just reading stuff….and chatting with y’all on the forum…..

Airbrush powder takes like 5 minutes once you have your base. Scary simple. I was like, I’m done? Oh, I’m done. Wow. Lmao! I looked at the finishing powder and debating if I want it or not. I am loving the airbrush powder way too much. The lightweight thing is winning major bonus points, especially as I’m stuck with glasses.

I played with the airbrush powder today and think I finally nailed the colour. I made up the tinted moisturizer and it is HEAVENLY!

Who hoo! I’ve not made the tinted moisturizer yet. It’s on the list. However, I did tweak my rose blush. Added some rosy mica shimmer. I like it. It’s a touch darker than my rose, but it’s a nice blush I can blend for day or night.

Twin, that’s a really pretty color!! It looks great with your complexion!!

Connie, so awesome you nailed the color! Tinted moisturizer sounds nice! I need some for when I want to feel more polished. That’s maybe once or twice a year, if that much! Haha!

Okay. So we need blending colours 101. Do we have a thread? We need a thread. Tell me colours you want. We’ll work on it. 😁

Lmao. Let’s try for a neutral pink. Take your essential makeup. 1 tsp. Add in it 1/32 tsp of pink or reddish mica you have. Blend thoroughly. Try to see how it looks. If needed, add another 1/64 tsp to darken. The goal is a barely there pink that highlights without creating too pink of a tone. Think of it as all over pink without the super red undertone.
