Where is everyone getting their bottles and jars from? Just bought a ton of ingredients and will need bottles and jars for my concoctions. When I makes stuff I sometimes send stuff off to family and friends so for each recipe that is potentially 6 jars I’d need.

Looked at Chemistrystore.com and SKS. Chemistry Store has better prices but their shipping was ridiculous. No way am I paying $40 to ship a $60 order. Even when I took 1/2 the stuff out of my cart it was still $25 to ship. I don’t know how it could possibly be that much. Don’t know how much shipping is on SKS since I didn’t want to go through the whole hassle of putting in my address, credit card etc and then finding shipping to be insane. Also looked at Wholesale supplies plus and although their shipping is free if you spend $40+ I found that some of their prices were kind of expensive. Amazon really isn’t that cheap either. There must be some place that isn’t too expensive and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for stuff. Any leads would be great.

I am in China and buy from Taobao which is the most amazing website ever- and I mean ever. It’s brilliant! My other hobby is scavenging Taobao looking for better prices on something new. It is how everyone in China shops. But if you are not in China…

I’ve suggested AliExpress there is a lot to sort through on there, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy to figure out. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets and lots of free shipping.

I buy containers from WSP, which you said was expensive, but I thought their pricing was better than most others I’ve seen. I’ve also bought from Specialty Bottle but I can’t comment on the price of shipping. It’s been so long since I’ve ordered from there, I can’t remember. I did buy a box of bottles from Brambleberry, but it was about 400-500 8 oz bottles. It was cheaper per bottle to buy it that way, but do you know how long it takes to use up that many bottles?? Me either, because I’m still using them…..😜

Yes chemistry store had the best prices per bottle but once you add the ridiculously high shipping in then not so much. I’ll probably cruise through Amazon, bramblwberry etc.

Penny I’m in the US. Did check Ali express & definitely looked overwhelming. I’ll probably just stick with places I know like Amazon.

And yes 500 bottles is a lot. I was thinking of ordering 48-50 (depending on website) of 2 different sizes and was thinking that was a lot.

Yes, buying that many bottle was a bit ridiculous, but I am a *bit* of a container junkie. I love buying all different kinds of containers, as evidenced by the 7 large plastic tubs full of them in my garage. I’m slowly working my way through them though! I just need to keep making stuff! Such a hardship!!😂
