    Hi,
I would like to ask for help about the creamy concealer from the book. I’m new to DIY makeup so I ask before I purchase ingredients I will not have any use for.

My first reaction was that the concealer was too hard. I doubbled the amount of jojobaoil and put some extra E-vitamin drops in to to help with the oxidation of the extra oil. That is about the same ratios of ingredience that the cream base for blush, highlighter and bronzer have. That did the trick and now the concealer is pleasant to put on.

My problem is that I also have a ton of freckles and the concealer is too opake for me to use as a colorcorrector. Is there an ingredient I can add to make it more transparent…or rather what ingredient can be used to make the concealer more transparent?

Perhaps I need to make the Essential Mineral Makeup used in the recepie diffrently? The titanium dioxide and the Zink oxide might make it too opake to be used in the concealer for me. The Essential Mineral Makeup works wonderfully as powder tho so it seems the wrong way to go.

I have never been able to wear makeup more than on special occations before since I’m allergic. Then I stumbled across the Humblebee & Me videos on Youtube this winter and thought I give DIY makeup a try. Now I can wear makeup whenever I want. I like to give Marie a big bouqet of flowers of choise. You have have enlighten my life, both with the videos, the book and the fact I now can enjoy makeup.

I’m just going out on a limb and playing around in my head with your dilemma. What are you concealing? Most of the time, I make something between light and medicum coverage airbrush powder with varing amounts of sericite mica so I get the blurred look without a solid color face. I have lovely little mini flat mole things that I just finally made peace with and let them be. I do make a small liquid version of my foundation (just mixing with argan oil) with a tiny amount of green for the red around my nose and another little thing with a bit more yellow for under my eyes. I don’t use the concealer recipe because on my face I never got it to blend as needed.

I forgot to also recommend trying out the primer stick. I enjoy wearing it most days. It is my favorite thing most days.

Thank you for your answer. Even though I was unclear about what I meant you managed to answer my question anyway.
It is the dark under my eyes and the red around my nose that is the parts I like to hide.
I will try and make the foundation with arganoil instead and se if that works better.
Thanx and good luck at your new place.
