    Hi all,
    I’m a little confused about emulsifying waxes. I bought some from The Sage and it simply says ’emulsifying wax’ on the package. I want to make the mascara in the book, will this work?

    Hey Laura! Is there any INCI anywhere? The list of things that it’s made of?

    Thanks for the reply! Yes, it says: Cetearyl Alcohol & Ceteareth 20

    Hmm. I’m afraid I haven’t worked with that one; it isn’t any of the four listed in the book, or that I’ve been able to find in Canada. It will likely work if it was sold as a complete e-wax, but I cannot comment on if it will irritate eyes in mascara or not. I found Polawax, E-Wax NF, and BTMS-50 were all great… emulsimulse/ritamulse made my eyes feel like they were on fire :/
