I’m loving getting the colours I want in my eye liner, but I’m discovering a problem. I’ve made a few tiny batches hoping to see if it was my method of making it that was off. But the end results were all the same. The eye liner transferred to the top of my eye lid almost like a crease. I’ve tried straight silica balls as the eye primer, applying the balls after I’ve applied then liner, thinner lines, even no balls. But I still get eye liner lines below my brow bone.

What can I do? Or is this just me?

I have the same problem when I wear other cream/pencil eye liners.

After extensive testing, the only thing that worked for me was the mineral makeup + silica + eyeliner + more silica. This was easily the most infuriating thing in the book!

Ok! I’ll give that a go in England. Today, I decided to take some mineral powder and mix it with some silica balls and use that on the lids, eye liner, more balls. I got a photo, but my phone is out of juice. I’ll try to post the makeup after a few hours when I get to Shanghai. I’m going to have to wash it off before I travel for my eyes got all teary on the walk home. -17C and contacts… so not a good idea but I always do it!

    Thanks Marie!

Marie, are you saying use straight silica? I’ve had this problem ever since I’ve worn eye liner. It always transfers to the crease of my eye. Looks like I’ve used eye shadow. I use pencil because I am hopeless with the drawing of a nice, fine line around my eyes with a brush (and, to be honest, not great with a pencil some days). I want to make your eye liners so I am going to need to practice this art!

I did find that Tkb does have ozokerite wax. Who knew?

I knew! Almost bought a sample of it to try out when I ordered my makeup supplies from TKB

I’m debating. I’m thinking of it. I am. I need gray and purple micas. Hehe. Need some other stuff. But I need to make BrowWow. Badly. Yes.

BrowWow is something I’ve never needed. My brows are more of the “pluck and tame” variety. I swear I need gel to control them! And if I didn’t pluck, I’d have a unibrow. Haha

Belinda, I just learned how to thread my own brows and its super easy. You should check it out on you tube. Much easier then lots of plucking

Just watched video and I am seriously not that coordinated! I would hate to see what I’d do to my brows if I tried to do that! Haha

I’ve always had thin brows, not to mention light coloured brows. Makes it tough at times since they seem to never be thick, kind of like my eyelashes. Depressing really.

    That’s why there’s mascara and BrowWow!😊

Yup. Some of us are not special like that. 😝 Now I need to figure out my eyebrow colour. This should be interesting. Very interesting. Lol
