I’m Looking to upgrade my scale from one that measures in Gram Increments to one that will do .01 of a gram. Suggestions?

I would like to upgrade my scale also. One that you can turn off the auto-off function would be a winner in my book!

This is the one I’m currently using that goes down to 0.01g. I’m quite happy with it, especially for the price, but having it top out at 100g does limit its usefulness. In reality it seems to top out closer to 120g, but when your little dish weighs 80–90g, this scale can come up against its limitations pretty quickly.

It looks like Lotion Crafter has some lovely ones, but sadly with the exchange rate + import fees + international shipping + brokerage fees, I don’t think I’ll be trying any of them anytime soon.

Aliexpress ladies! Honestly. Now that half my family uses it they won’t shut up.

My tiny scale is heaven sent! It goes from .01g to 500g which makes me happy. My previous scale was like Marie’s and I was constantly complaining.

I can’t use Aliexpress as they won’t deliver to China. The sellers at just use Taobao! But I did some snooping,

The exact same scale I have The hinged lid broke very quickly so that is a con in my book. Other than that, I really like this little scale. The seller has a 98.4% approval rating and is a four diamond store. Alibaba uses the same rating system as Taobao and I would feel comfortable buying from this seller.

Another scale option This scale is from the same seller as above. 2AAA batteries.

Another option by a different seller Who has amazing ratings. This scale is a fair bit bigger, so storing it would be an issue. And the battery section is not too clear. It says 2AAA or a watch battery.

Play around with different sellers and look at their ratings when you buy from Aliexpress. If you are looking for a LOT of product, we are talking a drum size of a specific oil, check out Alibaba.com that’s even crazier.

Marie, I have that same pocket scale! I also use a larger kitchen scale for making soap and such. They both work fine but I don’t like the auto off function. I guess I’m a slow pourer or something.

I’ve been looking at the scales on Lotioncrafter, but keep telling myself I really don’t need a new one.😜

Checked out alibaba and I must say…..WOW! They really DO sell everything on there, don’t they?!?!

Psssst! Belinda…. you should check out Taobao. THEY have everything foo decal cadavers to horses to houses for sale. Not to mention, cheese, baked goods, peon sell homemade soaps for 10,000rmb/65g and people actually buy them!

I know many soapers and DIY’ers who buy tons of stuff from Aliexpress. If anyone needs helps navigating, let me know!

Never bought from Aliexpress and since I’m new to soaping, help navigating would be amazing. Daunting is a mild term. Omg. And I thought navigating different bottle shops for containers was difficult.
