Good morning Marie! I was wondering, can we get a forum category for soap?January 21, 2017 at 7:09 pm #18957
I was thinking the same thing, Barb. One post isn’t enough. We really need a whole category, with sub categories.January 21, 2017 at 7:30 pm #18961
*nods* I can almost fill that category with questions myself.January 21, 2017 at 7:57 pm #18967
And I’ll help you fill it with answers!January 21, 2017 at 9:02 pm #18984
We so need a soap forum. I’ve been looking at molds for hours trying to figure what kind of mold I want. LolJanuary 21, 2017 at 9:41 pm #18986
Looking at soap molds, micas, fragrance oils, etc…..after a while your head starts spinning from the choices.January 21, 2017 at 10:17 pm #18993
Um yeah. I’m at Nurture Soaps in the micas. Omg, the choices. I need micas. So many bold, bright micas! And I think I have 3 mold styles I like overall. A 3 lb one for regular soaping. A smaller 2 lb for testing. Then I saw a cool 5 lb with movable blocks that was tall and skinny. What do you think? I’m not getting them all right away, but good ideas? I have a 12 cavity rectangular set all ready. 😁January 21, 2017 at 10:40 pm #19000
I want a tall and skinny loaf mold! I have a regular 3lb loaf mold my hubby made me, a silicone loaf mold (around 3 lbs too) with removable dividers from Essentail Depot and dividers from a store on Etsy, and a 9 bar slab mold with dividers from BB. My husband also bought me a couple of PVC pipes with a cap end I can use to make round soap. Haven’t used those yet though. I have several silicone molds with the individual cavities – oval, round, and square shaped.January 21, 2017 at 10:40 pm #19001
Nurture Soap has gorgeous micas!!!January 21, 2017 at 11:28 pm #19009
Ooh round soap mold. Like the rim mold Soap Queen made. Yeah, just add to my list. Lol.
I’m thinking dividers would be cool. I was curious if I got a 5lb loaf with a divider to make into 2.5 lb on each side if that would work long term. Plus I admit the whole swirling thing. I need to swirl. 😳 And the dancing dot thing. That I want to do with black, raspberry, and neon purple. I need it.January 21, 2017 at 11:30 pm #19010January 22, 2017 at 6:56 am #19019January 22, 2017 at 9:19 am #19024
