ParticipantHey! Can anyone tell me, what is an average price on orange blossom water in a grocery/health food store? I haven’t found any yet, though I haven’t been to the Whole Foods store here, which supposedly has it. I’m on Amazon and I can get orange water and rose water really cheap, but shipping them is $7! I’m just wondering is it worth it not to have to run to Whole Foods because, dollar wise, I’ll end up spending the same amount of money as what I’m paying online with shipping. Yes, I’m lazy! Thanks!!

ParticipantThe Whole Foods by my house has orange blossom and rose waters for the same price (within a dollar, $7ish) as Amazon, before shipping. Totally worth it to run to Whole Foods, though I’d call ahead and make sure they have it in stock.

KeymasterIf you have any Lebanese grocers in town, check them out, too! They’ll very likely be cheaper than Whole Foods.

ParticipantI did finally run to Whole Foods. They didn’t have it. I need to look for a Lebanese grocy store. I’m sure we’ve got to have one somewhere! I just can’t see paying $1.80 for orange blossom water and $7 to ship it! I guess that will be my last option, if I get desperate.

ParticipantI just found we have two huge international markets here that get really great reviews. One 15 minutes from my house, the other 20 minutes away. They have Mexican, Asian, Middle Eastern, European….everyone reviewing it says it’s fresh, cheap, and clean. Woo hoo! I can’t wait to go and see what all they have!! How have I missed this place?!?! Oh yeah, it goes by the name “Farmer’s Market” and we have a bunch of those types of stores here. It definitely needs something jazzier, with international flair! Haha

ParticipantSo Today I found orange blossom water at the Lebanese grocery store for $3 for 300ml. I have to say I barely got into the parking lot before I opened it and smelled it. Well Marie has me addicted to another thing! It smells like everything high ends cosmetics shoulds smell like. I makes me think of classy tea parties in summer gardens and falling in love with a man that brings you flowers. *Swoon*

ParticipantI got orange blossom and rose water at our International market. I think I paid ~$3 for the two bottles combined. Very inexpensive! I have yet to open them though. I want to keep them sealed until I’m ready to use them. Now I’m curious though! Thanks Zil!! I have a feeling it’s going to become a favorite of mine too and I’ll be buying lots more!

ParticipantI have Rose geranium water from NDA but it smells so STRONG! I have to use maybe a drop or two and that’s it! Otherwise, my eyes are watering from the smell. It does disguise the awful smell of silk amino acids nicely, though.

ParticipantTrue rose hydrosol smells like a fresh rose. Try the Etsy store, Glory Be Herbals. Her rose hydrosol is awesome. Since she distilled it herself, I know it’s artisan created.

ParticipantI got some rose water from the international market but I haven’t opened it yet. I want to save it for when I’m actually making stuff. I’m hoping it has a light rose scent versus the eye watering OMG I can’t take this smell!

ParticipantI love mine. I spray it on my hair and face as a pick me up, it’s that good.
