What is everyone’s favorite scent blend for a relaxing spa scent? My go to for years has been

    10 drops Lavender
    5 drops Rosemary
    1 drop Peppermint
    2 drops Eucalyptis

    That sounds awesome, Zil!

Mine is a bit weird but I adore it.

    6 drops peppermint
    4 drops Roman Chamomile
    4 drops Lime
    4 Blood Orange

It’s relaxing and uplifting. I feel less stressed about everything.

I’m going to have to try these. I like a spearmint/eucalyptus blend. It just smells clean and wonderful to me.

Try eucalyptus radiata, spearmint with a touch of vanilla. Omg, it’s awesome as a diffuser scent or as a linen spray.

I actually stole mine from Badger Balm — it’s a great relaxing, sleepy scent

    Bergamot
    Lavender
    Rosemary
    Ginger

There’s less of each as you go down the list

Ooh, that sounds awesome too. I love the scent of bergamot.

If you want a luscious treat, you can try this:

    5 drops rose geranium
    4 drops mandarin
    3 drops amyris
    2 drops lemongrass

Cyn, what’s amyris? I’ve never heard of that one.

Ooh. Amyris is awesome. It’s also known as Western Indian Sandalwood. It’s a slightly different scent, but beautiful. It’s exotic in its own way. It’s also more affordable than true sandalwood, which is protected and can only be harvested under certain conditions.

Love the smell of sandalwood! Allergies don’t like it much, though. Stupid allergies!!

Allergies are most evil. I’m still mostly voiceless. Stupid voice. Stupid allergies. It’s why I’m careful with floral essential oils.

My ultimate favourite is sweet orange. I have no problems using just sweet orange essential oil!

When someone complains that just the sweet orange is boring, these are the mix ups I use:

    Orange Creamscicle (or lime heaven)
    Orange or lime essential oil
Half the citrus essential oil of vanilla 20x

    Room refresh;
Equal parts a citrus, rose geranium and lavender

    Dreamscape;
    Lavender
    Ginger
    Benzoin
    Orange
The barest hint of clove, I use the toothpick swirl here. Sounds like a strange combo but it’s my favourite for the bedroom!

I adore sweet orange with lime and add vanilla. Penny can be our spa person. She has awesome taste.
