Have any of you Bees out there tried this liquid emulsifier? It is SO COOL! Literally ONE minute of weighing ingredients, pouring water into oils & Sepiplus 400, stir with a spatula, and VOILA!
Thick creamy lotion! It was so fun I made a second batch! I think I love this stuff!😍😍

First batch lotion Sepiplus 400 “oil-free”

Second batch lotion Sepiplus 400 squalane abyssinian

I know, they look the same, but I’m posting them both anyway. If you like trying new stuff, try this emulsifier. Sooo fun!! I love these cold process emulsifiers!

Love squalane for my facial lotions. So light and just melts into the skin. #happyskin #facelove 😂😜

Sepiplus 400 INCI polyacrylate 13 (and) polyisobutene (and) polysorbate 20

I need this squalane stuff. Wonder if Sepigel 305 would work similarly. Hmm. I like this cold blending thing. Really really like it. Lol.

I would say Sepigel is very similar to Sepiplus in regards to the cold emulsification process. The textures may be different, though. I can’t say for sure since I don’t have any Sepigel at the moment.

So, I’m going to work with my hemisqualane today. I want to make a lightweight lotion/cream. So I’m debating- Sepigel or Sepimax? Btw, the container my HMSqualane came in is too adorable. Lol

I’m thinking some allantoin, chamomile extract(so forgot I bought it!), and perhaps some panthenol. Whatcha think?

The Sepimax will be more of a true gel unless you use another emulsifier and use the Sepimax for thickening. I’d try the Sepigel since it sounds more like the Sepiplus that I have and will create a cream vs a gel. You are going to have so much fun with it!

The squalane, allantoin, chamomile extract, and panthenol combo sounds like a winner! So soothing!

Sounds like a plan! You missed the great Spring Reorganisation. I rebottled things in smaller bottles, cleaned & sanitised bottles, and repackaged stuff in better ways. I even claimed baking soda for myself. 😁 No, I’m not planning on major creations this Wednesday. 😂
