Found a few. Depends if you’re on Apple or Android.

So: Apple has less offerings. Surprising but there it is. Cosmetic Ingredients and What’s on my Face were the two big ones I found that seemed decent and are low cost.

Android had lots more. From EWG’s app for food and skin (the database was recently updated and doesn’t seem to be as good as it once was.), Ingred looks like a top free pick, Chemical maze is great but expensive, organic composition has potential and is free.

Those seem to be the best so far.

I won’t buy any of those, if they cost anything. Free ones I’ll try but I usually end up not using them and deleting them. It’s just easier to Google 😊

I was thinking of a Curly Girl app. I thought I saw on some curly hair forum that there was one.

OK! This is why I rarely go on the App Store….crazy stuff out there!! “How to make a man fall in love with you”??? Seriously, there’s an app for this?? Do people really buy these things??

Lmao. I only found an app that talks about caring for curly hair, but really did not do much in regards to products, hair type, etc.

Yes, I saw that one too. Can get that info for free on NC website. Why buy an app? Some of them are just ridiculous.

Looking up on a website in a store with the male….uh, not easy. Lmao. Unless I’m prepared ahead of time, an app where I can scan and show him, it’s easier. Lol. Think of it as show and tell for the other half while I get quicker intel.

Just made two new hair products. One with witch hazel, lavender hydrosol and lavender essential oil to refresh and lightly cleanse the scalp. The other with Melissa, chamomile hydrosols , and aloe Vera, distilled lemon EO, roman chamomile EO, and lavender EO in it. A true refreshing hair mist to condition and moisturize the hair without too much weight.

Those sound really nice! The one with AV sounds a bit like a curl refresher spray, too.

mmm, I’m liking the sound of the second one too! Hydrosols….that’s a new thing for me, ugh, I’m running out of cupboard space and my man just figured out how much I had :O! I told him I wanted a lab for Christmas, lol. BTW, I finally got around to using the conditioner I made, I didn’t deep condition as I didn’t want to go too far and my curl came back 🙂 HAir feels soft again! Belinda you are the best hairguru!

    Awwwwww, shucks!😊 Thank you Connie!

I don’t know if my husband knows exactly how much stuff I have, but he knows I want to enlarge the laundry room if we ever get around to remodeling the kitchen/laundry room area. I have stuff in the cabinets, stuff in the garage, and two large plastic bins full of ingredients, tools, etc…not to mention the plastic bins full of containers in the garage. I need more room!! A whole lab area off the house would be nice! Haha

I’m going to Twin’s house for vacation! I’ll organize for her and she help me craft! A good set of fun!

    Y’all come on over!

Twin, we would have so much fun! Think of all the fun stuff we’d make!! Aristoflex lotions, shampoos and conditioners, body butters and lotions, soap, makeup….we’d have to set up a schedule of events!

You might be on to something with having your stuff in different locations, rofl…he would never see all of it at once…so the impact is softened somewhat.

That is true. I still remember him opening up the cabinet over the washer, where I have a bunch of oils, clays, micas, powders, various liquids used in hair/skin care, butters, etc…and looking at me going “are you going to use all this??” Ha! Are you kidding me? How do you think I make soap, hubby of mine??? Out of thin air?? Of course I’m going to use it! Duh!! It’s not like I can use it all at once. He’s never really commented after that.😁

Lol. My stuff is in my walk in closet. Unless he goes in, he’d never notice it. Heh. Though my jars of finished aloe cream, pain butter, body butter could be a clue. Lmao.
