    Hey all,

    I’m sad to see this forum is pretty unloved, but maybe someone will see~

    I recently bought a lot of ingredients on eBay for a steal, which included SLS powder and Dimethicone 350. (won’t lie, I bid for the BTMS50, Germall and extracts)

    SO, when it arrives, that the heck do I do with the SLS and Cone? I don’t see a lot of recipes on the blog, which makes me sad.

    So, hit me. Please NO hair recipes. I’m Curly Girl Method on my wavy color treated hair so no fates/cones in my hair care, please.

    I use dimethicone in my fall/spring/winter lotion formulations and it is fantastic! I’ve not found anything else that comes close to soothing and protecting my cranky skin. I, too, am CG so I don’t use any silicones in my hair either.

    Hey Belinda,

    I tried the batch bombs a while back and it was LOVELY. I’ve used it in a few bath foam recipes, too.

    What % to you use the D-cone in a lotion. I used Working Hands in the winter and I’d love to DIY something a little more gentle on my nails and skin whilst still protecting it.
