I’m always open to suppliers of anything DIY, so I’ll give the names of those I use, maybe to help someone who’s new to this or just an option.

    Soapgoods.com.
Essential oils are fairly priced and they sell tiny sizes for testing before buying larger. I also buy ingredients like allantoin, SLSa, oils, butters and stuff like that.

    Camden gray.com
My favorite and I’ve learned to suffer the shipping because usually I get more for less when I buy from them, comparing shopping lists side by side with other companies. Oils, butters and lots of treasures. Essential oils just seem to be high quality to me and not very pricey.
Just a beautiful website and great prices.

    PipingRock.com
They often have BOGO essential oils or deep discount sales for a day or two. When you’re starting out, and share the BOGO’s with a friend, you can grow your stash quick. They sell some oils and butters, also, but it’s the eo’s that are the attraction.

Of course, TBK. They’ve been around for years and is the best place for hard to find powders.

Everyone knows Brambleberry. I like buying the extracts there, since I can’t find them anywhere else.

It’s all Marie’s fault that my once sewing room now has become my apothecary room. Love ya Marie!

Sorry Christie—I just discovered that this forum has a spam bin, and this was in it! That’s probably why you were having troubles earlier. PipingRock.com is new to me—darn them being American! 😛

Suppliers I’ve used are Brambleberry, NDA, Lotioncrafter, Chemistry Store, Personal Formulator, Essential Depot, The Herbarie, From Nature With Love, Ingredients To Die For, Soapmaking Resource, Bulk Apothecary, Wholesale Supplies Plus, TKB, and Specialty Bottle.

Links I’ve saved to suppliers but haven’t used are Chemistry Connection (or Save On Citric), Formulator Sample Shop, Making Cosmetics, Natures Garden, Windy Point Soaps, Voyaguer Soap and Candle, Soapers Choice, American Soap Supplies, Rustic Escentuals, Florida Natural Supply, Essential Wholesale and Labs, MMS – The Sage, Nurture Soap, Mica and More, Mad Oils, Just Pigments or Wholesale Pigments), DIY PAK, DIY Cosmetics, and Bulk Actives.

http://Www.venusianglow.com has links on her website to various suppliers all over the world for DIY supplies.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!😀

I’ve used Rustic Escentuals, Aztez Candles and Natures Garden. I won’t use Rusitc again as you have to buy a minimum and the shipping is ridiculous. Natures Garden I’m on the fence about. The products have been great and the Fragrance oils fantastic but their shipping is killer. Aztec has become my go to for FO’s since they ship USPS and I get more bang for my buck since I can spend it on more products vs shipping.

My go to for the make up related stuff is TKB.

For essential oils since it’s Plant Therapy and Edens Garden what I favor. I do love Rocky Mountain Oils but there are just a tad too expensive for me and I get the same quality with the other two.

But my ultimate all favorite is Misty Magic Supplies. They are a closed FB page and they even ship international. It’s run by a Mom and Daughter Duo. They are working on launching there website soon. I definitely recommend checking them out. The prices are unbelievable. The group is fun and their customer service is top notch.

Twin, this Wholesalers Supplies Plus. Omg…my cart overfloweth. Lmao. I’m trying to keep it decent and it’s so hard. But wow. Just wow. I like them!

Yes, they are a great source and prices are great too. I like them, and really like free shipping over $40! And inexpensive containers! And micas in jars! The first time I shopped on there I had to go back in my cart and delete, delete, delete because I got a little carried away.

Umm, yeah. *whistles* my cart is in the 200s. I’m like, must lower price tag. Bad Cyn, bad. I like the cold process soap oil kit. I was like, Yes! Mine! Awesome price for all that oil.

    So yes, I’m liking them.

Everything I’ve used from them is good quality stuff. I bought some micas I can’t wait to try in a CP soap recipe! Most all of the colors I’ve used in my makeup have been from there. And, yeah, I feel ya! I was racking up the $$$ on that site, especially with all the pretty mica colors!! Delete, delete, delete…..

I got it down to like half. Maybe. Since I’m starting out newer than most of you in the soaping and hair care, etc…I’m catching up. However, my apothecary cabinet of essential oils and infused oils are awesome. Lol.

I need to not go back and look at all the micas. Even on TKB, I’m,like… just a few samples….and $$$$ later, I’m like OMG. No, no, yes, yes, uh maybe, no, no…

I use Candora Soap and Voyageur Soap and Candle if I have smaller orders to make since the shipping is less expensive, but if I need cosmetic powders as well, then I use TKB Trading. Their shipping is around $20, but they have everything. I use Lotion Crafter if I need special cosmeceuticals.

I’ve also used diycosmeticcontainers.com and justpigments.com. For international order we used to be able to ask for orders from both sites to ship together to only pay one shipping fee, but they changed who runs the site now so I don’t know if it’s still possible. The pigments can pretty much all be bought at TKB, but I greatly prefer the chubby lip pencils from diycosmeticcontainers. They sharpen easily and the caps stay on, unlike the TKB ones.

Ooooh. I was wondering how to find the pencils if I got brave!

Joyful, don’t encourage Cyn! She is distracted by all pretty new things!!

Focus, Twin! You need to make soap!! Step away from the chubby lip pencils……hahaha!!

P.S. to Joyful…..How do you make lip pencils?? I’d love to hear how you do this! Do you make eyeliner pencils too??

Haha, yes it’s addictive. I’ve been wanting to make a new order from TKB, not because I currently need ingredients, but because I’m scared to run out 😂

For the chubby lip pencils, I make a regular lipstick (but don’t use the long-wear base from the book, it’s way too soft and you end up with a huge blob on your lips, add some wax – haven’t tried to modify it yet). I fill them using a 50ml beaker. It’s so easy with one, but hard without the beak. For lip liner, just add more wax. I haven’t made eye liner pencil yet because I had purchased their thin pencils, but they were much shorter than listed. They were about 3 inches long. I might eventually make some.

I love using chubby lip pencils, but stopped using them because since I love having a ton of lipstick colours, I felt bad about having to waste the plastic when done. With the pots, I can wash, sterilize with 99% alcohol, and reuse for myself.
