I have some fun ones and some themed ones and some boring ones. I wear them in the classroom too!

My aprons are not plastic. I’d be worried that the oils or lotions or something would slide down like a funny horror movie brains sliding down the back wall. Get a thicker water resistant apron in canvas.

You don’t *need* and apron. It’s like a phone cover. You don’t need need one. It’s just nice to have!

Oh, I need a phone cover. Otherwise, it’ll get scratched up. And I don’t have dedicated DIY soaping or makeup creation clothing. Maybe I could get my act together and sew one. Maybe. 😂

No, I’m not serious!! Just wear close toed shoes when soaping, but no, you don’t need special ones, Twin. Silly girl! 😜

For some reason I never even thought of wearing an apron for cosmetics. It would be useful though. After your comment, Belinda, I searched on amazon.ca, but there doesn’t seem to be any plastic ones. I found 1 out of thin canvas, and the rest are thicker cotton (with very nice designs). Where do you guys find yours?

I live in Florida. We’re lucky if we’re in shoes indoors. Lol. I think I have slip on slippers. Should work.

I have an apron I got from a specialty boutique that carried knick knacks, gifts, stationary, this and that, etc.. It says “Mommy’s Sippy Cup” and there’s a wine glass stitched below it. Pink with ruffles. How cute is that?!? The other aprons I have I actually got in the mail as freebies from some organization wanting donations. I think I got three or four of them. I’ve seen aprons at craft stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and JoAnns on occasion. None of the aprons I have are super thick material, but they do protect my clothing, especially from oil splatters. I was messier than I thought I’d be when I first started crafting, so I really needed an apron to protect my clothing from further mishap. Any of the ones I have do the trick just fine.

Don’t you have tennis shoes, Twin? Those would work. You will be standing on your feet a long while (if you’re like me), so shoes with good support are important.

Are they all plastic or do you also use cotton ones?

Mine are all cotton or cotton blend fabric.

I have my Skechers for walking, with orthotics in them. I might have an old pair maybe. Have I mentioned I’m not a shoe collector? Now boots? Perhaps. Lol

I used to have aprons. I wonder where they went when we moved here. Hmm

Swift crafty monkey is evil. You can just wander around and keep going. It’s like Soap Queen blog.
