    Hello Kathy M!
What can you tell me about where you bought it from? Perhaps it is a blended product?

I know for me, beeswax is the last thing that melts in my formulations too! What I find works best is mixing my beeswax into a liquid oil before putting it in my double boiler. Be sure to give this link a read!

    Hello CuriousBee!
Well isn’t this a fun topic! Now there are a few different ideas, but I just use the same formula. I make the base of the cupcakes first and pour, then I make another batch of soap bringing it to a thicker trace.
    And that’s it!

I went to go make something this morning only to discover that I am out of my favourite preservative: Liquid Germall Plus. So went to Gracefruit only to discover they are sold out! So had to go on a hunt that last a few hours trying to broaden my horizons on preservatives. I currently live in Ireland which means everything has the potential for some form of mould/fungus so needed to make sure that certain boxes are ticked more so than others. I settled on Euxyl K940 and paid an arm and a leg in shipping costs.
Damn this living on an island thing!

    Howdy!
I think your problem might not just be related to your preservative expiring but also in your reusing of containers. You mentioned, “The other thing about the hand lotion is that I put it in two-cup canning jars with a pumper top“, pumpies are ridiculously hard to properly clean out between uses that most people don’t even both with it and just replace them each go because they are notorious for not being able to be cleaned properly.
Marie posted this link about it.
