Today we’re creating an ultra-lightweight hair oil that’s designed for hair that’s really not very tolerant of oils (like mine). Some of my favourite-for-hair oils are blended into a silky, fast-evaporating base to create a water-free hair oil that smooths and nourishes hair while leaving it smelling fabulous!
If you love body-butter-esque creams, this one is for you. This Rosé Moisturizing Body Cream has a consistency that makes me want to dollop it on a big slice of pie, or perhaps eat it out of an artisanal waffle cone. It smells fantastic and is loaded with ingredients to hydrate, soothe, and keep skin moisturized for hours. My skin loves it. I can’t vouch for how it tastes, though.
I am straight-up smitten with the whippy texture and skin feel of this Rosé Whipped Body Butter. It’s fluffy and rich (like marshmallow fluff!) in the jar, but starts to melt quickly on skin contact. It glides across the skin lightly before absorbing in a flash, leaving skin soft but not greasy. It smells fabulous, is a very fun pink colour, and is generally very fun. It makes a great gift as well as a fabulous treat for yourself. Let’s get whippy!
This Rosé Shimmer Body Oil is many fantastic things. Thing #1: it is ultra silky and lightweight, absorbing into the skin in a flash leaving a beautiful dry-touch finish. As I was trying to brainstorm different projects that would fit with the beautiful luxurious-ness of the theme I couldn’t help but think of a conditioning body butter, as every single one I’ve made has been the epitome of luxury. This one is no different—it leaves your skin feeling all kinds of soft and pampered, it smells divine, and it is the perfect companion to the hand lotion. Prepare to fall in love!
I’m really excited to share this formula with you guys—this Pemberley Hand Lotion was my Formula Botanica final project, and I received a mark of 100% for it! The project was to create a product for a specific customer. I designed this gorgeous hand lotion for professional women, aged 30–40, who work in an office setting. It had to be ultra hydrating but also super fast absorbing so the user wouldn’t leave greasy fingerprints on papers or touch screens. The scent had to be soft as heavily perfumed products are frowned upon in office settings, but I also wanted it to be luxurious and pleasing to give the user a bit of a sensory break from their busy day. This is what I came up with!
