Argan Rose Conditioning Hair Balm

The Argan Rose goodness continues today with this silky & nourishing Argan Rose Conditioning Hair Balm. It’s like the lovechild of an oil-based hair serum and a solid conditioner bar. This balm has the richness of the oil-based serum, the conditioning wonderfulness/solidity of the conditioner bar, and the nourishing goodness both. Starring luxurious argan oil, fragrant rose wax, and ultralight Neossance® Hemisqualane, this conditioning hair balm is a truly decadent hair treat.

Chocolate Cherry Whipped Body Butter

Our indulgent Chocolate Cherry theme continues today with a decadent whipped body butter that could easily be mistaken for dessert! This soft, marshmallowy body butter stars fragrant cocoa butter, silky cherry kernel oil, and lightweight mango butter—and it’s utterly lovely. I worked through many variations of this formulation, both in terms of ingredients and process, to create a whipped body butter formulation that stays light and soft despite containing quite a lot of brittle cocoa butter, and I’m so thrilled with how it turned out. Let’s get whippy!

Watermelon Mint Hand & Body Lotion

This powder-pink Watermelon Mint Hand & Body Lotion is a bit of a departure from the heavier designed-for-winter lotions I’ve shared lately (I might be dreaming about warmer weather!). It’s lightweight, with gorgeous slip and fast dry-down, and it’s pump-bottle friendly. The scent is a soft and fresh blend of peppermint and watermelon that lingers lightly on the skin. I’ve also kept this lotion more on the natural side of things, using a new-to-the-blog natural silicone alternative and one of my favourite ECOCERT emulsifying waxes. Let’s dive in!

Lavender Aloe Lotion

We’re continuing our Lavender Aloe theme today with a dusty purple lotion with a gorgeous powdery finish. It smells softly of lavender and quickly vanishes into your skin, leaving it feeling richly moisturized with no greasiness. Featuring soothing aloe vera juice, moisturizing colloidal oatmeal, rich murumuru butter, and anti-inflammatory panthenol, it’s a fabulous treat for your skin. This thick and creamy pot of goodness is my current bedside table favourite, where I can apply it to dry hands and legs before drifting off to sleep. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

Creamy French Green Clay Face Mask

Today we’re whipping up a simple, creamy, oil-based face mask. A soft balm base is loaded with silky French green clay (my favourite clay for face masks!) to create an ultra velvety skin treat. This format is far less messy than blending clay and water, both for application and rinse off, which I really appreciate. You can also use it in two different ways, depending on what you’re looking to get out of your face masking, making this DIY quite versatile as well!

Little E’s Lemon Shea Hand Lotion

Today’s lotion is one I created at the request of some friends. Their daughter (Little E) had painfully dry, cracked hands through the winter, and she really didn’t like to use lotion as most of it stung and hurt. That really resonated with me as that’s what my hands were like when I was younger. I remember my mom applying lotion to my hands before bed and it stinging to the point of tears. It was awful. So, I asked Little E what she’d like her new lotion to smell like, we settled on lemon, and then I set to work.
