Pink Lemonade Soap

I think it’s about time we welcomed summer with a straight up summery soap (even if it is barely spring… let’s just say we’ve built in ample aging time). This pretty pink bar is a tribute to pink lemonade, and as such it smells bright and lemony.

Soothing Oat & Honey Face Mask

If your skin is on the sensitive side, I think you’ll love this simple soothing oat and honey face mask. Made with just a handful of easy-to-find ingredients, it comes together in a flash and leaves your skin feeling tight, clean, and refreshed. You’ll also get to spend twenty or so minutes looking like you’ve done a face plant in a pot of mashed potatoes, which is always sort of fun 🙂

I often get questions about using one colourant instead of another in recipes, so I thought I’d write an overview on the different types of colourants I use, why I choose them, and what they’re best suited for.

Pink Rose Clay Bar

After falling madly in love with my Everyday French Green Clay Bar I decided I needed more of them. Clay bars are downright fantastic for daily light clay use and they’re far more travel friendly than a baggie of mysterious looking powder (especially if you’re flying). This Pink Rose Clay Bar version features two gentle clays and some other goodies to create a pretty pink bar just in time for Valentine’s Day.
