Today we’re smooshing up a Gentle Oatmeal Almond Body Wash Bar, featuring a generous amount of colloidal oatmeal and a beautiful, gentle surfactant blend. While I did design this with a body wash in mind, you can also use it as a facial cleansing bar and shampoo. It’s really easy to make, and really lovely ❤️

Today’s formulation is designed to pamper your hair and your nose! It’s a decadently thick and silky Strawberry Kiwi Conditioning Hair Treatment, made with satiny kiwi seed oil and deliciously fragrant strawberry hydrosol. I’ve been enjoying applying this Strawberry Kiwi Conditioning Hair Treatment about once a week before working out or puttering around my home in my pyjamas, and then washing it out whenever I get around to showering for ultra-silky hair! I’ve discussed different ways you could use this formulation depending on what your hair loves in both the video and this blog post—I think there’s something for everyone!
This formulation is a really fun and interesting one; it’s a solid, self-preserving body wash that I’m calling Birthday Suit Solid Body Wash. You can customize the colour and the scent, and play with different moulds for all kinds of fun! It’s also easy to make—mix, melt, pour, and you’re done. I had a lot of fun developing this formulation and I hope you have fun making it 😄
Today I’m sharing my first shampoo bar Bee Better project—this More Mango Sulfate-Free Shampoo Bar is an update on the Mango Mango Shampoo Bar I shared in March 2019 (almost exactly two years ago!). In writing, the differences between this updated formulation and its 2019 predecessor aren’t massive, but I find the differences between the finished products to be very pronounced. These updated bars are easier to make, harder throughout use (and therefore longer-lasting), and it’s much easier to create a smooth, lovely-looking bar with this formulation. Hooray!
Today we’re getting sudsy and clean with a seasonably pink Conditioning Valentine’s Hand Wash! I went through a lot of handwash in the beforetimes, and that has easily doubled or tripled in the last year. Lots of handwashing + dry weather is pretty hard on my hands, so I’ve designed this hand wash formulation to get your hands clean without leaving them feeling tight or dry—like a bubbly Valentine for your hands 😄
Today I’m sharing a formulation I’ve had a ton of requests for; an all-natural, sulfate-free liquid shampoo! This Rose & Silk Clarifying Shampoo was one of my Formula Botanica Diploma in Organic Haircare Formulation final projects (if you’d like to read my full review of the course, click here). I formulated this shampoo to have rich & decadent lather, a soft scent, and to improve shine and bounce. Because of the all-naturalness, it does use a few ingredients that are new to Humblebee & Me or rarely used; please refer to the substitution suggestions at the end of the formulation if you don’t have everything.
