Today we’re squishin’ and mixin’ up a batch of pretty pink sulphate-free shampoo bars, featuring Australian pink clay and a blend of gentle surfactants. These beautiful bars kick out all kinds of gorgeous, creamy lather, and leave your hair wonderfully clean. They also take on a really cool mosaic-like appearance as you use them thanks to the contrast between the lumpy white Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) and the deep pink clay. Neat!

I had so much fun designing and creating this adorable pink Watermelon Mint Lip Scrub! I’m loving (and needing) lip scrubs pretty regularly these days thanks to Calgary’s dry winter weather (I know it’s technically spring but I don’t think the weather here has noticed!), and a quick buffing with this creamy, minty treat is just the thing to do away with dead skin and refresh my lips.

Last month I shared a Creamy Autumn Grounding Salve, starring an intoxicating blend of essential oils—patchouli, lavender, benzoin, and ylang-ylang. I’d intended for the salve to be a one-off, but after sniffing away at it for a few weeks I knew I needed to use that essential oil blend again! Hence, today’s project. This lotion is the perfect companion to last month’s salve, starring the same essential oil blend, but in a fast-absorbing lotion format that’s perfect for drier fall days.
