Today’s rich and all-natural Almond Oat Balm to Milk Cleanser is a gorgeous way to gently wash your face, and it pairs wonderfully with my Gentle Oatmeal Almond Body Wash Bar! I’ve been using this softly oat-scented cleansing balm to remove eye makeup and wash the rest of my face, and I love it. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or tight—just clean and lovely. Let’s get making!

Today we’re smooshing up a Gentle Oatmeal Almond Body Wash Bar, featuring a generous amount of colloidal oatmeal and a beautiful, gentle surfactant blend. While I did design this with a body wash in mind, you can also use it as a facial cleansing bar and shampoo. It’s really easy to make, and really lovely ❤️

This formulation is incredibly simple, with just three (or four) ingredients and an almond-y theme. 99.5% of this formulation is almond-derived ingredients; you don’t have to keep to the almond theme if it doesn’t appeal to you, but you might want to re-name your creation if you start switching things up! This Simple Creamy Almond Body Butter has a really lovely, rich, creamy consistency, but it doesn’t use any creamy butters like shea butter or mango butter. It’s really easy to make, and can easily serve as a base for all kinds of further experiments and customizations so you can create something uniquely yours!

I first discovered Phyrne in the TV show based on the books (I streamed it on Amazon Prime a few years ago), and after a 1920’s Gatsby-themed event I was set to attend last spring was cancelled, I rekindled my relationship with the Honourable Miss Fisher in book form. That rekindling is what inspired this formulation for Phryne’s Milk of Roses 🌹

It has been absolutely ages since I shared a lip balm formulation, but with cold & dry winter conditions here for the somewhat foreseeable future, it’s definitely time for a new way to keep our lips happy! This Almond & Olive Creamy Lip Balm has a rich, slippy, semi-glossy feel that’s richly moisturizing and all-around lovely ❤️
