Rustic Clay Soap

This two-layer unscented soap is coloured with clay, and is really beginner-friendly. I designed this soap for my dad as a Father’s Day gift since he prefers unscented products; my Christmassy soaps for 2021 were pretty perfumey, so he put in a special request for something less fragrant. I also designed this soap to use up some oils that needed to be rotated out of my inventory, and I show you how to do that with whatever oils you might need to use up. The partner video for this soap is the most complete soap making video I’ve ever made—I hope you enjoy it 😄 Let’s dive in!

Almond Oat Soap

This creamy Almond Oat Soap came with a rather baffling (and completely unexpected!) mystery! When I sliced it after leaving it to saponify for a day I was delighted to find it was a completely different colour than I expected. Not just a bit darker or lighter (or grey-er, as can happen with saponification), but a totally different colour! One of my awesome patrons solved the mystery—keep reading to find out what happened, and why!

Ice Palace Soap

Welcome to holiday soap (and holiday theme) #2 for 2020; Ice Palace Soap! This year’s Ice Palace theme is all about embracing the cool, sparkling beauty of ice and ice sculptures. This cold processed soap channels dazzling wintery wonder with wispy cool-toned swirls and a generous topping of colour shifting micas, and it’s the first of many icy DIYs I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks!

Argan Rose Soap

Today we’re swirling up some luxurious bars of Argan Rose Soap, made with vitamin-rich argan oil and dusty pink Australian clay. Crimson rose buds and rustic Himilayan pink salt stud the top of the bar, and a rich pink swirl dances through the middle of the bars. These bars are part of our ongoing Argan Rose theme, so if you’re looking to create a themed gift basket you’re in luck!

Lavender Aloe Soap

We’re continuing our Lavender Aloe theme today with a batch of beautifully swoopy and swirled Lavender Aloe Soap. The top is decorated with a dusting of violet biodegradable glitter, and I had a lot of fun bevelling the edges of each bar with a vegetable peeler for a softer look (seriously—if you’ve never taken a vegetable peeler to your soap you are missing out!). Let’s dive in!
