Played around with some Lip colours today and thought I’d share! I’ll play around with them in the morning and post some photos of them on.

Red Delilah and Blushing Taupe. I put the spatulas down to run to the bathroom and the counter was so cold it hardened fast! So smudged it a wee bit and really liked the picture, then continued smudging.

Beautiful! I’m nervously working my way to lip paints. I’m making the lip balms as I type.
I love the Berry Red but it’s too strong for me. Well, I suspect it is. If my lips were fuller I could do it but they’re sort of just under medium fullness. I got to be careful with color.
Tell me how you love these paints.

Blah! That lip paint picture doesn’t want to load!

The lip paints are strange. They go on with what I would consider a full coverage with great accuracy. And don’t be nervous! They were wicked simple to make!

I hate to say it, but I’ve not actually tried the lipsticks yet! I like to wait until a day has past because I find the too soft. I was hoping the Berry Red would be similar to Marie’s Black Plum, but it is too red. Now that I’ve perfected the basics and some basic colourings, it’s time to go crazy!

Dear Barb, I need lippie ideas. Can I add peppermint to this stuff?

Cyn—You can add peppermint to the lip paint, but be sure to decrease the amount of the liquid oils to compensate. When the lip paints get too wet they lose a lot of their awesomeness in terms of application accuracy and adhesion 🙂

Ooh. Less water, more tingly! Excellent! *laughs evilly*

You are cracking me up, Twin! I love a little tingle on my lips too, though.😁

Peppermint and anything lip related is important. My first lip balm was peppermint and I recently used a grape one for fun and I was like, huh. Well? Then realized I was waiting for my tingle. Yeah…depressing. Lol.

Well, if it were fermented grapes, you might get a little tingly. Haha!🍇🍷
