Ohhhh, I hadn’t thought of that! Now I’ll be obsessed with it. I do wish I had a hobby kitchen in the basement, though, so I could stop digging through twenty bottles of miscellaneous oils to find my olive oil.

The closet maid door hanging adjustable shelves are great for making a closet wall of just your cosmetic oils

I want my walk in closet in my bedroom/ office rearranged so it’s efficient in storing my craft supplies. I need more space. And I need a mini fridge or two.

I’ve told my husband that when we finally get around to remodeling our kitchen, I want to enlarge the laundry room, which is adjacent to the kitchen, and create a crafting space. If I’m really dreaming big, it would include a refrigerator, sink, stovetop, plenty of storage space, and stainless steel counters. Who knows?!?! He might do that for me. 😀

I keep dreaming about renting the apartment next door to use as my DIY space. Three rooms for stoarage and an extra kitchen!

I want some sort of pull-out drawer cabinet right next to the hot plate where I can keep all my supplies and designated mixing bowls and jars. Currently it’s all stored in various cupboard around the house, which turns into a wild goose chase when I’m trying to find something XD

If we’re dreaming big, I need the apartment next door. The male and my husky get the apartment. I stay here. Lol. I’ve got everything almost perfect. Almost.

I need more shelving too. And better lighting. Like a Sun light so I can see what I look like outside without going outside.

Ladies, I think my brain just exploded! A whole living space devoted to crafting! Lots of space and storage. The mind boggles!! Of course, having that much space demands inviting your crafty friends over to christen it. Think of the lovely messes we could make in such a space. In this dream, the messes would clean themselves as we enjoyed a glass or two of wine to celebrate all the lovely things we created.🍷

Robotic cleaning service for middle of the night clean up. Yes! Especially after a crafting party. Oh the fun you can have!

So does Anyone else get really excited to find super fancy natural brands so that they can hack them and get new DIY Ideas? Sometimes I go to Sephora just to get recipe ideas! I feel a bit like a James Bond Villain sneaking pictures of the back of bottles. Some of my favorite brands to hack are:

    Tarte
    Herbivore
    Fresh
Andalou Naturals *** This is my newest and most exciting brand to hack

Zil, YES, that’s ME! I now read all labels with a plan of … “I can make that!” I loved that I read the label on the Tattoo Goo salve tin, deciphered that all those Latin words were simple things I have in my crafting supplies, and BAM, made a batch of my own! Not that I am personally tattoed, but my son, daughter-in-law, and many others are. It’s a great conversation starter at craft shows too …

I also love how we used to get sucked in by the extravagant claims on a shampoo bottle, such as “Made with a blend of white orchid and wild hibiscus!” Ooooh, how exciting! Basically, it has two fragrance oils blended together. YAWN! lol!

I’m just starting to want to hack. I just have one problem- I hate shopping. Sigh. If it’s not for books, electronics, diy stuff- then I hate shopping for it.

But I’m learning to figure the ingredients out. I have some items I wanted to make for ages. Once I conquered soft scrub, body spray and my sister’s favourite body butter- now I’m ready to expand to the next batch, including the male’s hair shine spray. I’m not paying $12 for that stuff anymore. No.

Oooh, hacking! Oh, i have a pinterest board with products to hack! But they require lots of different materials and my collection is quite small, so i make do with what i have 😛
Oil based serums and body oils etc are the easiest to hack i think, there’s a Caudalie body sculpting/anti-cellulite oil i’ll be hacking first when i get my hands on the EOs needed.
Or, the need to keep scrap fabrics, containers and such items, in case you need them in a project (but usually end up hoarding them) 😛

Hoarding? *covers the four cases of essential oils* I don’t see any hoarde.

I’m still learning. My new thing is figuring out why ingredients were used. I blame my courses. But it’s helping so when I want to create, I can find related items that are better for me that do the same. So, hacking will come. Soon. The makeup will be slow going, except for my foundation powder. I’m getting desperate as it gets lower and lower. And eyebrow pencil/filler. I’m loving that concept so hard.
