Today’s formulation sets out to dupe the rich, luxurious lather and decadent, lingering scent of the very popular Bath & Body Works foaming hand soaps, but using ingredients we can get relatively easy. I had a ton of fun with this formulation, and documented the entire process in the partner video—I highly recommend watching it to learn more about the development process. Let’s get lathery!

We’re continuing our Hot Chocolate holiday making theme with some tubes of the sort of lip butter I need in the winter. It’s rich, creamy, and most importantly, long-wearing. This stuff sticks around for hours—an absolute must when it’s cold, dry, and generally bleh outside. You’ll only need seven ingredients; most of them are pretty common, and the two you might not have can probably be purchased locally at a drug store or health food shop. Let’s get buttery!

If you’ve been looking for a soft, scoopy, foaming sugar scrub that won’t get too hard or melt into an oily mess… I’ve got good news for you 😄 This Christmas Spice Soft Foaming Sugar Scrub has a really fun, cake-batter-like gooey consistency. It’s perfectly scoopable, lathers beautifully, and smells fantastic. It’s easy and inexpensive to make (you can fill a 250mL jar for about $4), and you can easily customize it. Let’s get scrubby!

Today we’re kicking off our holiday 2022 making with a silky, decadent Hot Chocolate Natural Body Butter 🍫 This formulation is part of our first theme—Hot Chocolate! This is a bit of a “Bee Better” of a theme I very briefly touched on back in 2013. It was just a soap, and I wanted to do the theme justice with a few more decadent formulations 😋

I’m kicking off the 2022 holiday making series with a pair of Hot Chocolate themed moisturizers; there’s a public emulsified body butter and a Patron-exclusive Hot Chocolate Body Milk 😄

Hey Bees! Welcome to the 2021 Humblebee & Me Holiday Gift Guide 🎁 I can scarcely believe we’re here already. My 2021 Christmas is shaping up to be a bit bigger than last year, though still pretty quiet. I’m looking forward to baking, sleeping in, reading, and indulging in some of my favourite treats. I had a lot of fun with this year’s themes—ingredient-centric Frosted Cranberry and thematic Candlelight. I hope you find some lovely giftable ideas here, and in previous year’s gift idea compilations. Happy making, packing, wrapping, and gifting!
