Green Tea Cleansing Oil

I might as well own up to it and declare my solemn love for cleansing oils. We have moved past the crush stage and into a stable, long-term relationship. I love how gentle (yet effective!) they are—they leave my skin feeling delightfully clean without feeling hardcore stripped dry and sad. I also love how they’re crazy easy to make (melt, stir, done!) and customize. I’m on a bit of a green tea extract kick right now (lotion down, more goodies to come!), so I decided to whip up a fragrant, antioxidant packed cleansing lotion when I ran out of my last bottle.

Conditioning Rose Water Hair Mist

Am I the only one who imagines herself as a glamorous women frolicking through clouds of tiny droplets of magical wonder whenever she mists herself with something? I hope not. Misting is basically the grown-up skin care version of running through a sprinkler, complete with prettier smells and a much lower chance of slipping in mud. This particular mist is an excellent one to compliment your imaginary glamour mist frolicking—it’s brilliant on hair (and skin!), leaves you smelling like you sleep in a bed of rose petals, and doesn’t require any heating or emulsifiers, so it’s super fast and easy to make. In short, it’s awesome, I love it, and you should make some.

Green Tea Face Cream

Rich in antioxidants and all kinds of fresh and citrussy, this face cream is rather brilliant for summer. It’s got a thick, almost balm-like consistency, but it spreads over the skin beautifully in a thin, fast-absorbing layer that you wouldn’t typically expect from a thicker cream. Thanks to some awesome added goodies like vitamin B3 and green tea extract it helps even out your complexion, reduce redness and sebum production, and reduce irritation as well as delivering a serious hydrating punch. It’s pretty rad, and it smells great to boot.

Mint Julep Cleansing Oil

This creamy Mint Julep Cleansing Oil came about as a bit of an accident. I had “Julep oil cleanser” on my to-do list as a recipe request, and without referring back to the original request, I got all excited about an oil cleanser that smelled like a mint julep. Bright, juicy lime and cool, fresh peppermint. Yum, right?! However, upon referring back to the original request, I discovered that Julep was the brand, not the cocktail. Whoops. Oh well—no reason I can’t do both!

Lemon Rose Creamy Body Wash

This brand new Lemon Rose Creamy Body Wash has me seriously excited to take showers. It’s been years since I used a body wash—my shower has been strictly soap since 2011, and I love soap… but I also love trying new things. I especially love trying new things that are awesome! This creamy body wash works up into an utterly lovey, lace-like lather that I just can’t get enough of. I’ll drizzle some on a loofah, work it up into a cloud of bubbles, and go to town. Swoon.
