Dry Argan Oil Hair Mist

Today we’re creating a beautiful Dry Argan Oil Hair Mist! This formulation was inspired by some of the argan oil hair oils/serums on the market like ones from Moroccanoil and OGX, and will leave your hair shiny and moisturized. It’s super simple to make (just five ingredients!) and I’ve included instructions to alter the formulation to perfectly suit your hair. Let’s get started!

Double Butter Conditioning Hair Mask

Today we’re blending up a rich and creamy Double Butter Conditioning Hair Mask that was inspired by the hair mask made by the Bum Bum cream company. My Patron Bianca introduced me to it (thank you!), and not only did the ingredient list look downright lovely, but it was another place I could use the Bum Bum fragrance dupe I used in this formulation! In the original, all of the butters and oils come well after the fragrance (the fragrance is ingredient #4, while the first butter is ingredient #10), so one of the biggest things I did with my formulation riff was turn up the butter content so they could really shine. Let’s dive in!

Rose & Tea Ultra-Light Conditioning Hair Balm

Today I’m sharing a formulation for an all-natural Rose & Tea Ultra-Light Conditioning Hair Balm. This hair balm was one of my final projects for my Formula Botanica Diploma in Organic Haircare Formulation (I shared the other one back in January; you can check it out here!). It’s a creamy, silky balm that’s surprisingly lightweight and smells softly of roses and vanilla. It’s a brilliant way to add a bit of conditioning richness to your hair care routine!

Strawberry Kiwi Cleansing Conditioner

I’m continuing our Strawberry Kiwi theme today with a formulation for a creamy and gentle Strawberry Kiwi Cleansing Conditioner. A cleansing conditioner is a lovely, indulgent way to gently cleanse and condition your hair with just one product. This one is creamy and silky, and smells wonderfully of juicy strawberries. It leaves your hair feeling clean and richly conditioned, and it’s lovely.

Cran Cherry Scalp Scrub

If you’re looking for something to remove buildup and deeply cleanse your scalp, this Cran Cherry Scalp Scrub is just the thing! It’s a sudsing salty scrub that will leave your hair refreshed and bouncy. I’ve had tons of requests for a scalp scrub, and I had a lot of fun developing and testing this formulation. Featuring sea salt, cranberry seeds, and cherry kernel oil, it’s a soft pink colour and smells fantastic. Let’s dive in!

Strawberry Kiwi Conditioning Hair Treatment

Today’s formulation is designed to pamper your hair and your nose! It’s a decadently thick and silky Strawberry Kiwi Conditioning Hair Treatment, made with satiny kiwi seed oil and deliciously fragrant strawberry hydrosol. I’ve been enjoying applying this Strawberry Kiwi Conditioning Hair Treatment about once a week before working out or puttering around my home in my pyjamas, and then washing it out whenever I get around to showering for ultra-silky hair! I’ve discussed different ways you could use this formulation depending on what your hair loves in both the video and this blog post—I think there’s something for everyone!
