I whipped up these lovely little earrings in ten-ish minutes. The key to them is the dangling so lovely-like is lots of joints. My first attempt was basically just stringing them onto stiff wire. That really didn’t work out very well. They sort of just… slugged. They didn’t swing.
These earrings have several loops. A triangular pincher-type loop to hold the stone at the bottom, and some circular ones to hinge everything else together. Voila, dangle-riffic!

A narrow-bottomed triangle, with the narrow bottom cut in half to make a pincher. The triangle is joined by pinching the cut ends together inside the bead or stone.

I love these earrings and plan to make them this weekend. I just found your blog last night and absolutely love it!
Awesome! Have fun and let me know how they go! 😀
LOVE the earrings!! I have been wanting to try some earrings, so I must make these!! 🙂 Do I go to my craft store for supplies?
Awesome, thanks Janette! I got my supplies at Michaels and a local beading shop, but I’d recommend checking eBay for the wire and earring hooks—you can get them there for so cheap!
