Kristin wrote me with the most lovely sounding recipe request—she was looking for a “rich, tingly foot butter that smells like a pine tree”. Mmmm. As a lover of all things forest scented, I absolutely had to make this awesome (and as of yet hypothetical) rocky mountain foot butter.
Several months ago I ordered some rose wax from Saffire Blue, and apart from enthusiastically sniffing the wee baggie it came in, I haven’t done anything with it until now. This lovely rose and spearmint lip balm was well worth the wait, though.
I’ve had at least three or four requests for this rose argan body conditioner (inspired by a similar one by Lush), so I figured it must be pretty awesome. I’ve never tried the original, but it gets rave reviews for everything buts its price and the parabens that extend its shelf life.
Allow me to introduce you to something that is wonderful and delicious. It is lip balm that has been infused with coffee and chocolate, resulting in a fancy coffee shop experience for your kisser. This mocha lip balm smells incredible, tastes pretty darn good, and moisturizes beautifully. It’s the perfect gift for the coffee junkie in your life… just tell them not to eat it 😉
This beautiful oat milk dream cream is silky smooth, gentle, and soothing. I got the idea from Lush—their Dream Cream Body Cream is one of their best sellers. I’ve never tried it, but the internet made it sound good enough to dupe, so here we are!
One day, on a flight, before I was DIYing up everything in sight, my seat-mate used the most delicious smelling lotion I’d ever encountered. Soft and delicate, lavender, but not quite. It was fantastic. I asked the woman about it, and she just gave me the tube. She’d bought it at the L’Occitane shop at the departing airport, and wasn’t that attached to it, I guess. I’m not usually one to accept gifts of lotion from total strangers, but I made an exception for this one.
